Who We Are

Hospice Calgary is known for providing positive transitions for children, teens, adults and families experiencing loss.Through our two centres of care – Rosedale Hospice and the Counselling & Education Centre – we serve the community through grief counselling; end-of-life care; and continuing education for hospice and palliative professionals and the community.

What We Do

At the Counselling & Education Centre, counsellors and skilled volunteers support families impacted by the death of a loved one. We also support people living with a life-threatening illness and their families at the Centre and in the community. 

At Rosedale Hospice, our residential hospice care facility, adult end-of-life cancer patients experience a life-affirming, compassionate alternative to dying at home or in a hospital setting. They and their loved ones receive compassionate palliative care and emotional, social and spiritual support from staff and hospice volunteers. 

Hospice Calgary serves people of all ages, faiths, cultures, nationalities and financial means.
